Day 1

8:30am - Drive passes forests, longhouses, rice fields, pepper, gardens
and swidden farms.
11:30am - Arrive at the Loagan Bunut National Park Headquarters before proceeding to the Loagan
Lodge by a short boat ride (or walk on mud flats during the dry
season).
12:30pm - Lunch.
1:30pm - Briefing (Safety/Ecology and Cultural aspects). Free at
leisure.
4:30pm - Take a lake and river cruise to observe birds and other
wildlife, flora, some cultural sites or just enjoy the environment.
Observe the unique selambau fishing technique (when in season).
6:00pm - Return to Lodge for a sunset rendezvous. Evening at your
own leisure and activities.
Overnight at the lodge and dinner.

6:00am - Early morning cruise up the Bunen River and specific sites
along the lake.
8:00am - Breakfast. Rest of morning is at your own leisure and activities.
Guided trekking and canoeing are among the available optional activities.
12:00pm - Lunch. Rest of the afternoon is at your own leisure. Optional activities available.
5:30pm- Dinner. Rest of evening at leisure. Overnight at the lodge. Optional activities avalable.

8:00am - Breakfast and your own leisure. Try canoeing around the river with
local canoes (complementary).
10:30am - Transfer by boat to Loagan Bunut National Park (LBNP) for
return journey.

Water levels at the Loagan Bunut Lake fluctuates according
to the dry and wet seasons. The lake is completely dry during the
dry season, normally in July and August. During the dry season,
lake cruises are not available.

Insect repellent, sunhat, binoculars and your bird
book if any, torch light, raincoat/umbrella in case of rain, slippers,
personal toiletries, water bottle and personal items.
